This instrument has a body made from a single piece of maple with a western red cedar soundboard. The tailpiece features a unique and beautiful single use piece of artwork by Mossygale/Mossygale Tattoo

Probably my favorite instrument of this type I have made so far, both aesthetically and sound wise!

• Laser engraved western red cedar soundboard
• Laser engraved maple tailpiece using unique art from Mossygale
• Quartersawn hard maple bridge
• MVI 1/4 scale cello strings (C G and D cello strings)
• 21.5″ Scale length
• ~2.7″ deep
• 34.5″ long including tuners
• Paracord “tailgut”
• High quality bass tuners
• Rosewood “nut”
• Spruce soundpost and bass bar
• Engraved note/finger positions on sides of “neck”
• Blue-Gray finish (whitewash over black due), matte polyurethane top coat
• 16 notes easily reachable including the open string
• Bass string in the middle (this is how I play the bass instruments in 99% of my videos and sounds best IMO, you can swap it but for optimum performance the bridge will need to be modified to lower the bass string); if you’d like an additional bridge set up this way let me know after purchase and I can make one for an additional fee of $50.
• Playable tuning range from AAE to DDA. CCG is optimal
• Includes black curly maple bow with copper hair clamp and rosin!
