Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt (when tracking says it was delivered). Buyer pays for return shipping and items must returned in the condition in which they were received. I will do whatever I can to ensure you are happy with your purchase. I do my best to represent my products accurately. I have been making a living selling hand made goods via the internet for over 12 years (havocworks.com) and take customer service along with my business reputation seriously.

If you have any questions, please contact me at channing@havocharpa.com

Carefully remove instrument from packaging being careful not to knock over or move the bridge. I do not glue soundposts in as the optimal placement can’t really be known before hand. I ship instruments fully setup and slightly detuned to keep the bridge and soundpost in place.

Please carefully inspect your instrument and bow for damage during shipping. If the sound post has come loose despite my best efforts (you will hear it roll around if you tilt the instrument) you will either have to return the instrument to me or find an instrument shop that is able to do set up on stringed instruments to put it back in place. It’s the bane of shipping stringed instruments and as a talharpa is not a common thing, I chose to ship it fully set up rather than force you to try to find someone to do it for you!

Your bow will come pre-rosined and ready to play. If you notice that it slips and without making consistent sound, add more rosin to the bow. If it sounds scratchy/screechy then use an alcohol wipe to clean the strings where bowing takes place; alternatively the bow hair can be cleaned the same way. If you have any questions please contact me via the link on the front page.

I charge actual rate + the cost of packing materials. Unfortunately there is no way to cheaply ship an instrument like this. I pack them very carefully, including double boxing and foam bracing to keep the bridge from moving. It costs $15-20 for just packing materials per instrument. I wish it were cheaper but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. Local pickup or drop off in Central Ohio is possible; contact me via the contact form.
